WorkspaceOpenGrant Open data

Terms of service

Last updated: [FOUNDER: set the date these terms take effect].

Who we are

OpenGrant (opengrant.co.uk) is operated by [FOUNDER: confirm the legal entity name, company number if any, and registered address]. You can reach us at info@opengrant.co.uk or through the contact page.

The service

OpenGrant collects and presents grant listings and funder information from official registers, funder and publisher websites and open data. The sources page lists them with their licences. Source records remain available from their publishers. OpenGrant does not administer grants: check eligibility, deadlines and how to apply with the funder through the original programme page. [FOUNDER: confirm your wording on the accuracy of listings and what OpenGrant is responsible for if a listing is wrong or out of date.]

Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your email address. An account belongs to that email address, and a paid subscription covers one email address. Keep access to your inbox secure, since anyone who can open the sign-in link can use the account. How we handle your details is set out in the privacy notice.

Paid access

Full access costs £29 a month per email address and is paid through Stripe. New subscribers get a three day free trial; the first charge is taken on day four unless you cancel before then. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel it from your account. The cancellation and refunds page explains the trial, how cancellation works and what happens to money already paid.

Acceptable use

[FOUNDER: confirm your acceptable-use rules, for example automated access beyond the public API, sharing a paid account, and reuse or resale of OpenGrant data beyond what each source's licence allows.]

Liability

[FOUNDER: confirm your limitation of liability wording.]

Changes to these terms

[FOUNDER: confirm how and how far in advance you tell subscribers about changes to these terms or to the price.]

Governing law

[FOUNDER: confirm the governing law and the courts that handle disputes.]
