The St Clears Town Trust grants and how to apply

The St Clears Town Trust is a charity registered in England and Wales under number 219727. The Charity Commission register lists its area of operation as Carmarthenshire. The register describes its activities as: “The charity owns the town hall, the boating compound and community hall and several small parcels of land passed down from the original Town Corporation. Income is generated from lease of the land and the hire of the boating compound and community hall.” Its charitable objects are: “(1) The object of the charity is to further any charitable purpose for the benefit of the inhabitants of the town of st Clears(2) Subject to clause 23, the property identified in part 3 of the schedule to this scheme must be retained for use for the object of the charity.” In the year to 31 Dec 2025 it reported income of £21.3k and spending of £19.6k.
