Charitable objects

The objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:(1) To promote and protect the physical and mental health of individuals, families and carers experiencing baby loss, child bereavement, early-years illness and premature birth;(2) To advance education and research into the causes and outcomes of prematurity, late pregnancy, neonatal and early-years illness and death; and(3) To promote social inclusion and relieve the needs of individuals, families and carers experiencing baby loss, child bereavement, early-years illness and premature birth, in particular but not exclusively by: • the provision of services, advice, guidance, information and support for those dealing with prematurity, serious newborn illness, late miscarriage or medical termination, stillbirth and neonatal death, • raising awareness of all aspects of late pregnancy, neonatal and early-years illness, death and bereavement, and• providing grants to organisations that provide such services, or to individuals in financial hardship to access the same, and carry out research into the same.
