The League of Friends of the Brentwood District Hospital grants and how to apply

The League of Friends of the Brentwood District Hospital is a charity registered in England and Wales under number 263016. The Charity Commission register lists its area of operation as Essex. The register describes its activities as: “With the rebuild of the hospital, from the original 1930's building to a the new facility, the Friends now provides a small convenience shop for use by the public attending for all outpatient services; also for inpatients and relatives of the four wards, as well as the hospital staff, and respond to requests for…” Its charitable objects are: “To relieve patients and former patients of the hosptial who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and generally to support the charitable work of the Hospital.
