API deprecation and sunset policy
OpenGrant versions breaking API changes in the URL. The current public API is /api/v1. No v1 endpoint is deprecated or scheduled for removal.
Notice before removal
If we retire an endpoint, we will publish its replacement here and in the API guide at least 90 days before removal. Affected responses will include Deprecation and Sunset HTTP headers with the relevant dates and a Link header pointing to migration guidance.
Breaking changes
Breaking request or response changes will use a new major path such as /api/v2. Additive fields and new optional filters may be introduced within v1. Clients should ignore response fields they do not use.
