We provide grants to individuals and families affected by motor neurone disease (MND) who are experiencing ill health, disability or financial hardship. Grants may support activities, equipment and experiences that improve quality of life and create lasting family memories. We may also award grants to charities and organisations whose work supports people affected by MND.

## Charitable objects

> For the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of ill health, disability or financial hardship arising from motor neurone disease (mnd), including their families and carers, in particular but not exclusively by:(a) Providing financial grants to individuals and families affected by mnd to assist with practical, financial and wellbeing needs arising from the condition, including the provision of equipment, services, respite and other support intended to improve their quality of life and wellbeing; and(b) Providing grants to charities and other organisations undertaking charitable activities, projects or services which support people affected by mnd, their families or carers, where the trustees are satisfied that such funding will further the objects of the CIO.
