> (1) To preserve for the benefit of the people of Barton upon humber, in North Lincolnshire and the nation at large whatever of the historical, architectural, constructional and natural or scientific Heritage may exist in or near to that area (in the form of buildings of particular beauty or historical, architectural or constructional interest or ancient monuments and otherwise as shall be consistent with these objects).(2) To advance the education of the public in the said Heritage and to undertake such other charitable activities as may benefit the people of or visitors to the said area.
