> The preservation of good health and the relief of sickness for the public benefit among individuals affected by multisystemic smooth muscle dysfunction syndrome (msmds) and other acta2-related disorders by:a) supporting and promoting research for the public benefit into the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of msmds and acta2-related disorders, and publishing or otherwise disseminating the useful results of such research;b) providing information, advice, education and advocacy to improve public and professional awareness of msmds and acta2-related disorders, including the importance of early diagnosis, appropriate monitoring and well-managed treatment;c) offering a support network for individuals and families affected by msmds and acta2-related disorders, including facilitating connections with medical specialists and relevant organisations;d) organising and participating in conferences, forums and other initiatives that advance scientific understanding of msmds and acta2-related vascular diseases.
